This concert sees Phil Collins take his superb new album Going Back into the live arena. Filmed in June of this year in the intimate surroundings of New Yorks famous Roseland Ballroom, this is a real chance to get up close and personal as Phil Collins faithfully recreates the soul and Motown classics that he loved as a teenager. His band includes three of Motowns original backing band The Funk Brothers: Bob Babbitt on bass and guitarists Eddie Willis and Ray Monette, as well as two stalwarts of Genesis live shows: Chester Thompson on drums and Darryl Stuermer on guitars.

    Willy DeVille is the founder, leader and principal songwriter of the band Mink DeVille. The band came out of the mid-70s New York punk scene, but first broke worldwide with their 1977 hit Spanish Stroll. Their music belied their punk roots and mixed soul with R & B, blues and Cajun influences. The band continued to release albums until the mid-80s when Willy began to perform and record under his own name. His solo single Storybook Love was nominated for an Oscar after it appeared in the film The Princess Bride.
    Filmed at the Paradiso in Amsterdam in autumn 2005, Live In The Lowlands is the first-ever live program from Willy DeVille. The show took place on the tour for his most recent album, Crow Jane Alley, and includes performances that span both his solo career and his years with Mink DeVille.

    Ike & Tina Turner were an American musical duo composed of the husband-and-wife team of Ike Turner and Tina Turner. The duo was once considered "one of the hottest, most durable, and potentially most explosive of all R&B ensembles".

    Their early works including "A Fool in Love", "It's Gonna Work Out Fine", "I Idolize You" and "River Deep - Mountain High" which is featured in this video. These songs became high points in the development of soul music while their later works were cited for wildly interpretive re-arrangements of rock songs such as "I Want to Take You Higher" and "Proud Mary", the latter song for which they won a Grammy Award. They're also known for their often-ribald live performances, which were only matched by that of James Brown and The Famous Flames in terms of musical spectacle.

    The duo was inducted to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1991
