Sugarland
Country-pop duo Sugarland began as a trio playing in small clubs in Atlanta, Georgia. The trio, Jennifer Nettles, Kristen Hall and Kristian Bush, were all fixtures on the Atlanta scene through various other projects (most notably Bush's outfit, Billy Pilgrim) but it was when they came together as Sugarland in 2002 that people began to take notice. After a number of sold-out shows, the group was signed to Mercury Records. In 2004, Sugarland released their debut, Twice the Speed of Life, which spawned the hits "Baby Girl" (which spent a whopping 46 weeks on the Billboard charts) and "Something More." Shortly before heading back to the studio, Kristen Hall announced she was leaving the band to concentrate on songwriting. Now a duo, Sugarland released Enjoy the Ride in late 2006, and despite the absence of Hall, the album went double-platinum, thanks in part to the heartfelt tear-jerker "Stay." In the summer of 2008, Sugarland released the uber catchy single, "All I Want to Do," which rocketed up the country charts, prompting an early release of their third album, Love On The Inside.

Incredible Machine
Sugarland
Year: 2009
Runtime: 57 min
Jennifer Nettles’ voice can hold its own in any setting, but exceeds expectations alongside partner Kristian Bush’s mandolin strumming at the Grainger Studio. During this sensational hour, Sugarland presents a versatile set that gains momentum with each song. “Joey” is heartbreakingly sincere, “Everyday America” reveals strong, twangy vocals while broken-down acoustics give “Stay” a more traditional country sound. Their forte is to effortlessly transition from energetic pop songs to heartfelt, soulful ballads without skipping a beat. The dynamic duo also present older classics like “Baby Girl” and even venture into covers of R.E.M to pay homage to shared Atlanta roots during their set. -

Trisha Yearwood
Year: 2005
Runtime: 45 min
Trisha Yearwood could be considered a Triple Threat in the country music genre. Having garnered the trifecta of three Grammys, an Oscar-nominated song, and being the first female country singer to sell a million copies of her 1991 self-titled debut, she is indeed the marker of success to which all country female singers aspire. As a Garth Brooks protge, Yearwood began her career singing backup on his 89 debut. Appearing again on Brooks follow-up, No Fences, soon she was sought out by MCA who released her self-titled debut. More than a decade later with nine blockbuster albums and a string of chart-topping singles under her talented belt Yearwood returns with her 10th album, Jasper County. The album will premiere in September 2005.
Yearwood joins the Soundstage ranks, bringing with her a few special guests. Launching the show is Billy Currington, who performs the title track to his forthcoming sophomore album, Doin Somethin Right, which will see its release in October 2005. The trio Sugarland follows him. Performing songs from 2004s Twice The Speed Of Light, the talented Jennifer Nettles, Kristen Hall, and Kristian Bush are a fine lead in to the highlight of the show. Yearwood takes the stage performing some of her finest hits, including her very first single, Shes In Love With A Boy, Xxxs And Oooos (An American Girl) from 95s Thinking About You, and the Diane Warren-penned How Do I Live. -

Wide Open Live
Jason Aldean
Year: 2009
Runtime: 1 hr 6 min
On March 6, 2009, a sold out Knoxville (Tenn.) Coliseum crowd found out what millions of Jason Aldean fans already knew: he's a rising star and a damn fine entertainer. The concert was lights out and over-the-top. Those lucky enough to attend experienced not just an I-can't-wait-to-tell-myfriends- about-this show, but also benefited from the sum of years of hard work and determination. "Wide Open Live And More!" captures Jason Aldean at his rockin' country best. All the hits are here--"Amarillo Sky," "Why," "Hicktown," "Relentless," "She's Country," "Johnny Cash," "Laughed Until We Cried" and "Big Green Tractor"--and so are the live show favorites like "Wide Open," "I Break Everything I Touch" and "Asphalt Cowboy," among others. Not only does Jason sing his hits, he connects with his audience and offers them an escape, if only for the night. That's what real entertainers do. -
Pass The Jar
Zac Brown Band
Year: 2009
Runtime: 1 hr 56 min
"Not only is this a stellar recording of a nearly flawless performance, but it's also peppered with star-studded cameos and a few cover songs of the household-favorite variety. More importantly, it reveals Zac Brown and his band in their most comfortable and confident element — the live setting. Nothing against Brown's recorded material, but after hearing this October 30, 2009 concert from Atlanta, there's really no argument that Brown and band prefer the stage to the studio. The fawning ""Whatever It Is"" opens the set with rootsy instruments twanging and grinding under Brown's good ol' boy drawl, but you can almost hear the high-fives in the crowd following an excellent cover of the Band's ""The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down."" They do similar justice to a barn-burning rendition of ""The Devil Went Down To Georgia."" Kid Rock lends his graveled growl on a Zippo-hoisting version of Marshall Tucker Band's ""Can't You See"" and it's great to hear Shawn Mullins pipe in on the Jimmy Buffett-esque ""Toes,"" though it's Little Big Town's lush harmonic panorama on the heartwarming ""Colder Weather"" that shines brightest here." -
